Our medium to large dynamic phenotyping platform provided by Lemnatec provides dynamic non-destructive analyses of different crops or model plants. Plants are imaged regularly throughout their entire life cycle resulting in temporally resolved data on different aspects of plant development.
Metrics: 880 carriages split between 2 compartments with Gravimetric watering control. Imaging modalities include 2.5D RGB, Thermal Imaging and Root column Imaging. Laser Scanning and NIR imaging are under development and the supplier (LemnaTec) is re-evaluating fluorescence imaging at this scale. Optional sensors can be installed as required.
Environmental Data include compartment temperature, relative humidity, light intensity and water use. Optional data may include plant temperature, soil temperature and moisture content.
